What is kiah morris?

Kiah Morris is an American politician and former member of the Vermont House of Representatives. She was the first African American woman elected to the Vermont General Assembly. Morris was born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Bennington, Vermont. She graduated from Williams College with a degree in American Studies. Morris served in the Vermont House of Representatives from 2015 to 2018. During her tenure, she was a vocal advocate for racial justice and environmental protection. Morris resigned from her position in 2018 following a string of racial harassment and threats against her and her family. She continues to be a prominent activist and advocate for social justice.
